Chapter 1: Life with IT

Hello, blog! I am fae! And this will be my first time ever creating a blog, and I am very happy that I could experience becoming a blogger hahaha! So, today's blog will be about our 1st ever lesson in ELIE, which stands for Living in the IT Era. At first, I really thought that we would be using applications to learn, but it was the opposite! We will be learning to use the applications by ourselves, just like how I'm making my blog right now; it's really fun to be able to express yourself this way since it makes me be able to fully express what I felt and how I felt during the lecture. I was giddy when Dr. Salazar mentioned that we could do something like this, and I felt so happy to be able to use this platform as a form of medium that I could reflect on the lessons. Okay, so back to the topic! We learned today the differences between communication technology and computer technology! it's very fascinating to even imagine the types of technology that exist right now; as we progress to the future we get more reliant on technology, and it isn't a bad thing! since it makes our lives less hassle-free than they were before.

IT has been really helpful towards me with how I communicate with other people all over the world. I mainly use Discord as a platform for communicating with my friends, wherein they help me with certain subjects, and it helps me become productive since I am currently handling one of the biggest servers in PH, and this helps me connect with different people. It makes me proactive with the events that we host, which helps my leadership skills and skills when it comes to teamwork as well, IT has helped me with gathering information wether it was for general information or it was for school, It has made research become more time-efficient especially during my senior high-school days where in we had to search for RRLs. Over all, IT has made life and chores more accessible to everyone and makes life more easier whether it is in humans or in any other living organism that lives on earth! That's all for today guys! Chapter 2 : A gift? or A curse?

Hello everyone! fae here again! back with another blog for this week's module! This week we've learned about the different types of computers and how these types of computers work and how there are advantages and disadvantages in having or owning a computer. So, the question for today is: Is computer technology a gift? or a curse?
